Functional Balance Training for Improving Symptoms in Multiple Sclerosis

This study aims to compare the effects of two exercise training programs on the physical and cognitive symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, compared to a stretching program. The study will also assess the effect of the training on measures of daily living like dual task performance, balance confidence community mobility, and quality of life.

Participate: We are looking for people with Multiple Sclerosis looking to improve their physical and cognitive symptoms. To be eligible for the study you must:

  • Be between 55-90 years old.
  • Be diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
  • Must be willing to complete exercise training twice a week for 4 months (32 sessions)
    exercise training.
  • Be able to understand and communicate in English.
